Berli90 Sangonera de la Verde prison Murcia, Spain
The band was formed by inmates of Murcia´s Sangonera de la Verde prison in 1990 to take part in competition for new bands the resulting prize allowed them to record some songs one of which "Stormy waters" was later released as part of a compilation album "UN AÑO DE ROCK EN MURCIA 1991".
The name "Berlin90" came later when a name was required to fill in paperwork. The fall of the Berlin wall was in the news and it seemed appropriate for a group who had their own freedom restricted.

Angel Sopena interviews Berlin90´s Allan McCarthy for his radio show "Musica de Contrabando" on Onda Regional de Murcia.
The interview was recorded on the morning of Monday 7th November 2022 at ORM´s studio in Murcia.
The entire forty minute interview was broadcast that evening with the addition of two Berlin90 songs:
"Stormy waters" and "It´s you girl".
Angels show celebrated It's 30th anniversary on the 05th December 2020.
Angel and his show supported the band from the beginning.
When the pair met it was the first time they had seen each other in over thirty years.
With one difference......

The Prensa Ibérica group consolidates its growth in digital media. GFK grants a total audience of 23,144,464 unique users in its November registration , which represents an increase of 48% compared to the previous wave.
These data bring Prensa Ibérica to second place in the classification by Spanish communication groups, ahead of Unidad Editorial (21.8 million), Vocento (21.7 million), Grupo Godó (17.7 million) and Henneo (15 million). .4 million), and only a million and a half unique users of Prisa (24.7 million).
All the newspapers in the group have grown remarkably in this latest GFK measurement. La Opinión de Murcia, which reaches 2.6 million unique users , is one of the headers belonging to the group that has grown the most. In just one month, from October to November, the number of unique users who visit the website has grown by 149%, thus consolidating itself as the leader in regional web communication
