Even though Angel was celebrating the continued success of his show he still found time to mention the band in his interviews with the newspapers, tv & radio.
Repeatedly saying his favourite memory was that of the band and in particular the memory of seeing Allan for the last time.

The band has been fortunate to have benefited from support since the early days from friends. On Monday 7th November 2022 Allan McCarthy was invited to Onda Regional's studios in Murcia to meet with "Musica de Contrabando"'s presenter Angel Sopena.
This was the first time the friends had seen each other in more than thirty years.
The main difference from their last meeting was this time they were BOTH free men.
The forty minute interview was broadcast in Its entirety that evening accompanied by Berlin90's songs·
"Stormy waters" & "It´s you girl".
Unsurprisingly the show opened with "Jailhouse rock"

Allan & Angel were saying their goodbyes when they were asked to appear on Marta Ferraro's lunchtime programme "El Mirador".
"Stormy waters" & "It's you girl" were played during the interview, it was the first time Allan had heard his songs on the radio for over thirty years.
