Formed in 1990 in Murcia´s Sangonera la verde prison the band Berlin90 surprised everyone with their first song "Stormy waters" written by Allan McCarthy. The song appeared as the opening track of the compilation album "UN AÑO DE ROCK EN MURCIA `91".

"Jailhouse rock" & "The bad boys of rock" became popular headlines for Spanish newspapers.

The compilation album was supported by Radio station Onda Regional de Murcia with sponsorship from the Caja de Ahorros bank and Murcia council among others
